The Carbon Lehigh Achievement School (CLAS) is a center-based school for students requiring behavioral, emotional and mental health support in grades 6 through 12. In addition to the classroom teacher, each classroom is staffed with an Emotional Support Interventionist (ESI) and an Instructional Assistant (IA). The program is also supported by a program psychologist, social worker and school police officer. Students receive instruction in their core academics, physical education, health, electives and weekly individual and group counseling. Students follow the School Wide Postive Behavior Intervention Support program (SWPBIS) SOAR. Students move through the level system daily earning privleges as they progress through the system. CLAS is a 1:1 school whereby each student is assigned an individual chrome book. CLAS proudly serves the Carbon and Lehigh County school districts.
