PSSA Data
One of the goals of the Career Pathways Professional Development and Curriculum Committee was to improve mathematics instruction and student achievement. As a result, middle and high school mathematics teachers met for three sessions to examine PSSA data and engage in the process of analysis. These teachers then developed questions that led to the request for additional data.
The files that have been made available for these teachers were created by the CLIU MIS Department. The purpose of examining the data was to uncover the areas of mathematics where students need more instructional support and thus determine the professional development needed by teachers to improve student learning and achievement in these areas.
